FAQ’s

At Hetty’s we get all sorts of questions from our customers, sometimes too many to reply to in good time.

Before asking a question check here to see if it’s been asked already by consulting with our list of frequently asked questions.

Of course, if it’s not in the list here please do ask us via our Facebook page HERE or even better give us a call on 01538 266288 if it’s during opening hours. We do our best to answer every query but at times there can be a delay.

Q. Do you do charitable donations?

Due to Hetty’s overwhelming popularity as a destination for food and refreshment, we have at times become overwhelmed with requests for vouchers and the like. To date, we have not refused any but it is now becoming financially difficult to say yes on every occasion. As result, we have decided not to entertain requests for donations to charities and voluntary groups. However, we will be doing fundraising events for charities close to our hearts. We do hope everyone understands.

Q. Do you do gift vouchers?

Yes, we do, £5 and £10 – just ask at the desk or call.

Q Do you do gluten free ?

We are a small independent Tea Shop, not a restaurant but we do cater to gluten free requests. The variety changes daily. There is normally a GF cake out daily. Our GF lemon & blueberry cake is very popular.
