Our ethos at Hetty’s is to prepare and cook fresh and where possible locally produced foods.
This can mean that at busy times there may be a delay in getting your food to your table but we think it’s worth the wait.
Hetty’s has its own unique charm thanks to being situated within a 200-year-old former warehouse which is also a Grade 2 listed building. That brings its own challenges as we have been limited as to what we can do to the interior of the building and this has left us with a very bijou kitchen, to say the least.
In fact, many of you will have bigger kitchens at home.

We will never sit on our laurels and will every now and then change the menu to give you something different to experience. This ensures that we give as wide a choice of foods as we can whilst still remembering that we are a tea shop and not a restaurant.
We are open every day, except for Wednesdays when we are closed all day. Our current opening hours are 10am to 4pm.
The last hot food is served 3pm.
Cream teas are served Thursday to Saturday each week (pre-order required with 48 hours notice – contact us HERE )
